When Can Beginners Join?
New beginners can join any Monday during the Beginning Series I class--7pm. You can
register and pay online or at the door.
Continuing Beginners can take the Beginning
Series II class--8pm every Monday.
Do I need to bring a partner? No, we
rotate partners in class. If coming with a partner, you will not
be required to rotate if you do not want to.
How much does it cost? $9 per lesson, or see
Member Passes.
What do I wear to class? Most students come casual--jeans and a t-shirt, or
in business casual dress. We recommend that ladies wear a flat shoe for
the beginning level or a small heel with ankle support if you so desire.
3-inch+ heels are not recommended.
How long are the class cycles?
Our Beginning Series I is a 2 lesson cycle; Beginning Series II is a 6
lesson cycle; Intermediate Series I is an 8 lesson cycle. The Salsa
Training Programs have different setups.
What is a good way to
remember everything you are teaching me? Please bring a video camera to class and
video yourself and a partner dancing what you have learned after
class (no video of the instructors please).
Or, take written notes from our syllabus, which we have available at the
studio.
How many classes do I need to take
to get really good?"Give us a year of consistent energy, and
you will learn to be a good dancer for a lifetime" -Manny Gutierrez,
Director. Take the Beginning Salsa series, then try Intermediate Salsa
I and/or the Salsa Training Program for
a more intense learning experience.
